HIMIGSIKAN 2011

Himigsikan 2011 (August 11,2011)
LAYAG

nakatingin sa lupa at hindi mapakali
kulang ang mga sumpa sa aking mga naririnig
natagpuan ko ang katahimikan sa mata ng iyong delubyo
at matatagalan bago damdami'y matuyo

~This is the WINNING piece of Harmonya, a masterpiece made by Kit Manlangit. This song brought not just Victory but also UNITY to our one big family HARMONYA.

I never really thought that being a part of Team Layag would mean this much, i sort of "volunteered" myself to be part of the team, well as a dancer at first :P, but to my surprise became an Octavina player, something I am not really good at. I wasn't really Kuya Kit's first choice, but just like what I said it was like "volunteering" because i never had second thoughts or whatsoever because i grabbed it in just a blink of an eye. After, being a part of this made me realize that this would not just mean playing the flats and sharps but rather putting heart    on the notes that must be played.

I must say i had problems being a part of the team, i suffered because of the feeling of "inferiority". I just felt that of all the solo players i was the weakest , like my sound was the worst, something that really made me feel like quitting but then God sent his angels, and told me not to quit and that there's a purpose why i was the chosen one for this piece. I never perfected the intro part but I've tried to somehow make it perfect, and as the piece filled my heart i was able to somehow own the song even if i know that i'm not that good at it.

But when the BIG DAY came nothing really mattered to me but to be TRIUMPHANT together with my family Harmonya by sharing what Kuya Kit created to the people, we prayed and seek for His glory to guide us and help us.We do what we have to do , we played our music and showed them what we've got. In the end it's not really about us winning but it's the song and the way it was reflected to those who listened to it.

HE MADE US WON, and HE MADE US UNITED once again. Himigsikan indeed is just another battle, for Harmonya and many more has yet to come. Bu we've got to do nothing but to move forward and conquer it all :)

from my TUMBLR :)

It’s the scariest thing ever to realize how much someone means to you. When it hits you, I mean really hits you, all these thoughts and questions rush through your head at once. A sad emotion even starts to creep on you slowly inch by inch as you start to wonder.

What if for some reason things don’t work out? How are you possibly going to live without them?

Someone that was once a stranger now is the only person you know like the back of your hand. Someone you once had no emotions for, now has the power to break your heart. Someone you used to never hangout with, now owns most of your time. Someone that you thought you’d never love, owns your entire heart.

Someone you once lived without, you now wish to hold on forever.

April 8, 2011

Today I was able to meet my high school best friend; her name is Alyssa Arroyo :) I used to tell her about so many things in my life when we were in high school but I’m still doing the same thing now, it’s just that we don’t see each other that much unlike when we were in high school that we were always together.
So many things had already happened from those high school days, a lot of things had changed, a lot of people had been forgotten but the memories stayed the same.
I am missing a lot of people right now, I think my high school friends are the ones on TOP of that list.
I haven’t seen them for a very long time now, and just a few days ago, one of my high school friends celebrated her 18th birthday, it was so heartbreaking not to be present on her party because she is one of my closest way back to my high school days and even up to now, we still are getting in touch with each other. But the feeling of not seeing them made me really sad, I know I am happy right now, spending my time with my college friends but it’s just that I would not be able to learn how to make friends and maintain that friendship if not for them. God had given them first to me, so I should just value them as the first treasures I had gathered as I explore my very young teenage life. I must really say that I learned and experienced a lot from them and I would not be where I am right now if not for these people, the first’s people to show the cruelty yet amazing beauty of life.
I am really hoping that one of these days I would be able to invite all of them out for a dinner, where we will all be able to share the different happenings in our lives, in their lives that I’d missed. I hope one of these days God would allow me to talk to each of them and share to them the stories I’ve wanted to tell them. I pray that one of these days we would be able to relive the happiness we all once had shared :)))
To my Dearest PASTEUR :) I really miss all of you; I really thank God for bringing such wonderful people in my life. You guys are one of the most important possessions and even if I'd missed a lot, you Guys always stayed in my heart :) ILY and May God always bless all of you :)

CHEERS!!! :)
